  1. Choose seats together

    Check the coach plan before booking, especially if you need a family compartment, accessible facilities or space for a pram.

  2. Plan for the pram

    VR carries prams free. Use the marked space and be ready to fold yours on a full train. Ask staff if you need help boarding.

  3. Leave time for the platform

    Check the track and coach number before boarding. Keep tickets, snacks and the things you need first within reach.

    Children aged 0–10 can share a berth free under VR’s conditions. Tell customer service and check the sleeping arrangements before booking.
