| Long-distance · 4–17 | Child ticket: 40% discount on eligible tickets. |
| VR commuter · under 7 | Free travel. |
| VR commuter · 7–17 | Child ticket: 50% discount on eligible tickets. |
| Night train · 0–10 | May share a berth for free. Tell VR customer service; cabins have separate prices. |

Use the age on the travel date
Enter each child separately when buying. Bring official proof of age if requested during ticket inspection.
