Ring Rail Line services return to normal on 5 October
I and P trains return to normal Ring Rail Line service on 5 October, and both platforms at Malminkartano station reopen.
Normal service resumes on Monday
I and P trains return to their normal timetable across the Ring Rail Line on Monday 5 October 2026. Trains will again run as usual between Myyrmäki, Huopalahti and Helsinki.
The change ends the reduced service that followed the summer station works. Passengers travelling through western Helsinki will once again have the normal Ring Rail Line frequency.
Both platforms reopen at Malminkartano
Both platforms at Malminkartano station reopen for train services on 5 October. The temporary single-track arrangement ends at the same time.
Check live departures from Malminkartano before leaving. Individual trains can still be delayed or cancelled even when the planned timetable is back to normal. You can also follow services on the live train map.
